The history starts in the 11th century and our Cavenbrick family got the castle in 1654. Currently the 10th duke and Duchess of Blockshire live there with their children, family and staff.
my passion for bricks and history
I found my passion with bricks as an adult in the beginning of 2022. It started with a set and I felt I needed bricks for my own projects. I build many projects but nothing got finished. Until Blockshire castle. What started as a smaller palace quickly changed to a large castle with currently almost 40 rooms. From several staterooms and grand staircases, to servant quarters, this castle is working well. Demolition is unfortunately planned for the end of 2026 as there is no space for me to keep it. New projects are in the planning as we will continue to follow the Duke and Duchess of Blockshire.
